I have heard that some people do black magic and makes a small demon as their slave. That demons will do whatever its master ask him to do. Some people use it for good purposes such as exorcism while some do for bad and greedy things. This demon should be transferred to someone else before that master dies and this process should go on. If they do not do so their generation will be affected very very bad . Some says thay uave even this small demons … They are small creaturs with round greenish eyes and disfigured body. What really are this things… In kerala we call it as “kutti chaathan” and the process done to make them as slave is called “chaathan seva”. Is this all true.???

Run, don’t walk away from this stuff. Make an appointment and discuss this with your priest.

I will pray for you and this situation.

Well i am not at all affected by this thing. I just eant to kniw the truth behind it.

Hi Thomasag,

I have answered your questions separately to prevent any confusion.
I have heard that some people do black magic and makes a small demon as their slave.
Black magic is occult worship. It is forbidden in the Catholic Church. It is unwise to think that one of satan’s minions would become a personal slave, in fact it is the person using black magic that becomes the slave. Remember satan’s kingdom is a lie.
That demons will do whatever its master ask him to do.
One may think that they are the master, in reality they are not. Once a pact has been made - satan is the master/puppeteer.
Some people use it for good purposes such as exorcism while some do for bad and greedy things.
Solemn exorcisms, according to the Canon law of the Church, can be exercised only by an ordained priest or higher prelate, with the express permission of the local bishop, and only after a careful medical examination to exclude the possibility of mental illness. It is done for the good, to save the possessed persons soul.

An exorcist would not use a demon to assist with a removing another demon.

New Advent: Role of an Exorcist
This demon should be transferred to someone else before that master dies and this process should go on. If they do not do so their generation will be affected very very bad .
Transferring demons to other family members before that person dies will place serous affliction on the soul that person and their loved ones life. Thus bringing them under the destructive power of the enemy. This is occult and is against the Catholic Church teaching.

There is Biblical reverences about generational curses that travel down families.

I understand that Kerala has a high portion of Hindu religion. Chathan, Kutti-Chathan are part of Hindu mythology.

Black magic and all that you have been told by your friend are abominations to the Lord, because they attempt to reveal what is hidden (occult) by an alleged supernatural agency (divination).

Prayer affords the best protection for you and your family

Please talk to your priest for spiritual guidance.

God Bless
THT

The evil ones are all too ready to deceive us; do not be fooled. They want to drag you into their misery. They have many tactics, but we have the ammunition we need from our Lord Jesus Christ!

All we need is possible for us! The Blessed Trinity, Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Blessed Mother, the intercession of the saints, the help of the holy angels, the gift of faith, prayer and the Sacraments that our Lord Jesus Christ gave to us.

Stay far away from reading material and people who promote such evil and deception.

Praise be to Jesus Christ our Lord!

Read Ephesians 6:10 and following.

Where exactly do you live? I would assume this is probably some sort of cultural thing.

No, it’s against the rules. Humans don’t control angels or demons. You can ask an angel or demon to help you, but asking demons to do anything is only going to lead to trouble. With angels you pray for their help just like you would pray to a saint for help. When a priest performs an exorcism he invokes the power of God to cast out the demon. The demon has rules to follow and must leave.

Yes! Thanks be to God.

Could a demon not simply act as if being controlled? Or maybe is of the same goal as its summoner? just because an entity is malevolent does not mean it is not above team work.

I know that these are forbidden by the church but the question is… is it real? Can somebody actually converse with the demons to order them to do something or hear what they are saying etc?

I ask this because one of my friends says that there are hindu “baba’s” who can cure demon afflictions and perform excorsism. He claims that he has seen it first hand.
Can it be true? If so what shall I say to him? How can I explain it to him that these baba are also puppets of other demons.:confused:

From what they told us in HS theo class Jesus was accused of driving out demons with demons, so I would assume a catholic could believe that was what is happening.

But nearly every culture on earth has some form of exorcism ritual, and I wouldn’t call them demonic seeing as they are specifically to fight demonic powers.

Yes thats written in the bible that Jesus was accused so. But it is also followed by refutation by Jesus himself that “no house stands divided” and no demon would act against his fellow demon.
But on the other hand I believe that whenever such kind of exorcism is performed by non ordained persons, and that too not in the name of the One True God, then it is not exactly exorcism. It is just the replacement of one demon by another. Its like :

Demon 1 : OK dude I’l take care of this guy from now on. You go and take care of the other guy who thinks himself to be an “excorcist” 😃

Demon 2: But what about the temptations and problems I have brought into his life. I would have to take that with me.

Demon 1: No issues. When you take those effects away, he will think that he is fine. But I’ll bring other problems in his life. This way both this guy and the “excorcist” guy would be in our king Lucifers net:D:D

Demon 2: OK dude:thumbsup:

Wow thats a good script.😉
Anyways My question remains:- how do I make him explain this thing without sounding offending?🤷

Well thats the crux of it isnt it. Really rather difficult. “Hey man I know your trying to help people and all and thats great see, but your using the power of demonic realms im afraid.”

Now I doubt your actually going to in anyway effect their opinion, every time a catholic has told me a similar thing I just politely nod my head and thank them for their concern and the go on about my day because us pagan folks would totally disagree on the this subject. I would just say whatever is done don’t do it in a fire and brimstone manner. That only pisses people off, and someone who summons demons is not to be triffled with, I sure as heck aint messing with them.

You are Catholic. Is your friend Catholic? Whether your friend is Catholic or not, you can ask your priest about this. He will advise you. Do not be concerned about “offending” someone if they are playing with fire with wrong information.

Jesus Christ is Lord and Victor!

My friend is not a catholic, neither is he a Christian. He is a Hindu and he truly believes that these “baba” guys can really cure the sick and perform exorcism and all, because as I said he claims to have seen it first hand. He also told me that there are several levels of these guys some are more “powerful” than others like the “aghori’s”. I read about them and its pretty gruesome. He also believes that Jesus, Buddha, Rama etc. are all “enlightened persons”.

Any way I had managed (with of Gods grace) to hand him a Bible in Hindi a long time back because of his interest in Christianity. I asked him only once after that, whether he had read it or not, b’cos I didn’t want him to think I was forcing him or something.
And today, surprisingly, he said that today onwards he will read bible, at lunch break with me, that too without any persuasion from my side (maybe much greater persuasion from on high:thumbsup:). Just praying that he realises the TRUTH.

Well, what can I say. If you pagans believe in doing wrong even after being told that’s its wrong, then there’s surely some problem.
I in our part of the world, as per Proverbs 10:23 To do evil is like sport to a fool.🤷

We dont believe its wrong. Obviously a Hindu like the person in question here dose not believe its wrong.

Thank you for your much needed prayers.👍
I hope I didnt hijack the thread and the OP got his answer.

I know it bro. You dont believe its wrong and even after being told, you may not believe it to be wrong.
Dont know why, but a chain smoker comes to mind who even after being told that its harmful for his body to smoke, still continues to smoke. He doesnt think its wrong. After all, he cant see any harm in burning a small roll of paper with leaves and inhaling it. " Hmmph. No visible side effects. What do these guys keep saying about bad health and all:shrug:🤷"

Good luck to you!

Wow isnt i nice we have you wonderful Christians out there looking after our poor pagan souls telling us everything is wrong. Please dont patronize us, it dosn’t hep your cause at all. Just because you have told us it is wrong dosn’t make it wrong.

The gods themselves make plentiful use of magic, and many important historical figures made use of it aswell. Egill Skallagrímsson, a famous Norse hero, placed a curse apon Eirik Bloodaxe, King of Norway and Northumbria, during a blood feud.

Hindus, being the religion in question, have practiced magic for thousands of years often connecting it to ascetic persons and meditation. Many miracles are attributed in Indian folk lore to these people.

Unlike most other world religions, Abrahamic faiths condemn all magic, where as others consider them actions whos morality is determined by intent and outcome.
