Besides the 35.557 kilos of cocaine, Mexican authorities in October seized 360 tons of marijuana, 15 liters of opium, 291 hand grenades, 69,000 high caliber bullets and 15 airplanes belonging to various drug cartels.
The more than 35 tons of pure cocaine would had been converted into 113 million doses of cocaine on the streets of the United States, with profits of more than $1 billion for the main drug cartels in Mexico.
Along with the rise in cost is the rise in crime and human devastation. Let us all pray for the end to drug trafficking and the beginning of lawfulness in Mexico and Central America.
