I’ve recently returned to the Church and now I’m having fun seeing things through a new lense. These things are all probably old news to you guys but I thought I’d share and see if anyone one of any articles or books or anything that discussed this further in depth.
I was praying the luminous mysteries last night and it was the wedding at Cana.
I was trying to think of other passages where water and wine were part of the scripture and remembered two simultaneously. One was when Christ was on the cross and his side was pierced and water gushed out, and the other was during the last supper when he passed around the wine and said, “This is my blood.”
I’ve had a hard time concentrating lately and was wondering if anyone had a well written explanation of how the three passages all fit together.
Thanks!
