Very powerful. I don’t know how any Bishop - or any of us, really - could read a letter like this and not be convicted; but especially a successor to the Apostles.

May God help any Bishop who can read a statement like this and not take his vocation seriously, and not take a strong public stand as a defender of Christ and His Church.
 
When the Nazis came for the Jews,

I was not a Jew.

When they came fir the the Catholics,
I remained silent;
I was not a Catholic.

When they came for the Conservitaves,
I did not speak out;
I was not a Conservative.

When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

This is one in as I amended is one of my favorites. So true in this day and age.👍
