Bombs found at Clinton’s N.Y. home and Obama’s D.C. residence

Near-simultaneously, I was just starting a thread on this.

Here’s another story:


The bomb was similar to, and perhaps related to, the device found near George Soros’ home yesterday.

Also, from the Daily News story:
On Wednesday morning, an explosive package was intercepted at the Washington D.C. home of former President Barack Obama. It was not immediately disclosed if the package was similar to the ones sent to Soros and Clinton.

This is very, very scary. Has someone (a lone person or a group of people) started a bombing campaign against perceived “leftist” enemies?
 
Why do you think that is nonsense? It has certainly happened many times before.
 
You called it nonsense, but it has actually happened many times. It might not be this time, but to say that is impossible and nonsense is at odds with history.
 
I just read about this. I’m glad no-one was hurt, what a frightening thing to hear about. Hopefully whoever is responsible will be caught quickly.

The incessant conspiracy-minded talk about George Soros leads to things like this: It’s kind of like that nut case who went into that pizza place in Washington with a gun and fired it (or that brave patriot exercising his Second Amendment rights, depending on your point of view). This is what comes of endless talk about bogeymen and “socialists” and “leftists” being enemies of America, and all that.

Some crazy, somewhere, will believe it. Just like the Pizzagate thing, except this seems to be going to a whole new level.

This country is losing its mind.

I couldn’t agree with you more. What is happening is horrific.
 
CNN broadcasts from there. They are evacuating and broadcasting from outside.
 
Oh gosh, I didn’t realise that building was where CNN broadcasts from.
 
Yeah a good example is Operation Northwoods where the US military planned to kill American citizens and blame it on Cuba. Since then the secret government has grown more powerful.


What is interesting here is that there are three bombs and none of them worked. By work I mean actually detonated. The packages if sent by mail might have been subject to X-ray and dogs that detect explosives. I find it suspicious that someone was able to mail a pipe bomb to multiple destinations.

Mailing bombs isn’t unheard of. The leftist Unabomber, who likely had some contact with the CIA, mailed several bombs and was, unfortunately, successful in harming and killing people. But that was almost forty years ago.

Bombs are notoriously hard to make well. That’s why when combating terrorism governments focus so much on tracking down the bomb-makers who know what they’re doing.
 
This is a psyops. Who would think that Soros, Obama and Clinton actually check their own mail? Or that their mail isn’t in a secure box under surveillance? None of this passes the smell test. It does though look like a cold culture war turning hot. If there were explosive devices, than those perpetrators should be brought to justice using the rule of law.

That’s interesting, San Francisco also had a bad bombing in 1916.

 
I am waiting for more news on this but there might have been another bomb sent out. I just heard about it so I want to see it confirmed first.
