I just venerated for the last time the holy relic of St. John Marie Vianney at my parish church in Merrick, NY - the first of 50 parishes in the U.S. named after the Cure of Ars. I have never felt such a holy atmosphere since I went to Mother Teresa’s Beatification in Rome three years ago. Over five days here, my parish saw 15,000+ people coming to Mass, Vespers and veneration, and several priests hearing confessions for 12 hours a day - some until 11:00pm! You good people in the Boston area: Prepare to be blessed - the heart of this holy poor man is arriving tonight!
BTW, if you want to see a living saint - trust me you do - attend Mass with the holy Bishop Guy Bagnard of Belley-Ars who is accompanying the sacred relic. This man exudes love. I got a blessing fom him afterwards. Don’t let his ignorance of English deter you! I did’nt, and consequently I floated like I did when Mother Teresa gave me her blessing years ago!
God bless you!
