Don’t you HATE this! No it will not shut them down and if you Lefties are REALLY interested in “women’s health” you’ll not stand in the way of improving the clinics’ standards and protocols, as well as their staff. Gosnell was NOT able to admit patients to hospitals after he chopped them up. That’s why he (and other abortionists) tell the women NOT to go to the hospital but to contact them if there are complications.

The quality, sanitation and education/ability of the providers is obviously substandard or they would NOT be facing closure were they not to bring things up to the standards of my nail salon.

The DISHONESTY in reporting and in the MSM failing to get the facts is so disgusting. I am glad the Gov Perry and the other members of the Texas legislature demonstrate actual concern for the lives of their citizens (and future citizens)

Can’t wait to see this bill passed; super-proud of both Perry and my home state for being brave and courageous in the face of the current popular opinion that babies aren’t human beings until they’re born.

Indeed. It’s mind-shattering when you think about it. I keep thinking of St. Francis, and how he might react to all of this. Need to get back to my books on the subject, and draw some comfort and hope from them.

Not surprised it was NOT concern for “women’s health” or even members of the DNC but the anarchist types. Note they were ADVERTISING on Craig’s List for demonstrators and offering to pay them a couple grand a month to “agitate.” I guess the ad was scrubbed but not before it was clipped and sent around.

Much as I dislike the Democrat position on these issues the chants of “Hail Satan” were too obvious. Democrat operatives are rarely so honest about their true agenda, hiding the evils of abortion in fluffy language like “women’s health” “women’s rights.”

I think some of the most disgusting acts were the adults who put graphic and hideous signs in the hands of their innocent children, including drawings of coat hangers, and such crude phrases as “Stay out of mommy’s vagina…” I mean EWWWWWW who would do this to a child? The IRONY of a LIVING child being used as a prop to kill their siblings is unbelievable.

Funny - I always thought a “right” existed not just for one, but for all. How can a woman’s “right” to abort her baby negate the baby’s “right” to live! We are so astonishingly void of any common sense and logic.

On the surface, at least, the polls don’t look promising for a party that’s basking in the national spotlight because of a fight over abortion rights. The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life found that 53 percent of Hispanic Catholics say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases. That’s a lower percentage than white evangelical Protestants and Mormons, but it’s higher than all other religious voting groups, including white Catholics, white mainline Protestants, black Protestants, and Jews.

And Steve Munisteri, the chairman of the Texas Republican Party, cited a poll by the Wilson Perkins Allen research firm that found a 2-1 “pro-life” margin among the state’s Hispanic voters. The poll, conducted for the state GOP, showed that 62 percent of Texas Hispanics who voted in the 2012 election described themselves as pro-life while just 32 percent called themselves pro-choice, according to Chris Perkins, the pollster who worked on the survey.
