Recently I found this website, which much to my delight had the entire old-style Liturgy of the Hours in Latin and in English! So I subscribed to it have been enjoying using it since.
However, just recently I just found out that the group that has put this together, The Confraternity of Sts. Peter and Paul, is a Sedevacantist group. So it looks like I inadvertantly gave money to a group that doesn’t recognize the pope. But still, the Breviary itself is wonderful.
My question is, is this version of the Breviary “all right” to use? I also later realized that this version is not the one that the pope approved for use in his recent Motu Proprio (the approved one is the 1962 version, used by the FSSP?). But still, would it be all right to use “breviary.net” and their version of the Hours, keeping in mind that I am completely loyal to Pope Benedict and to Vatican II (I just prefer an older breviary in Latin and also prefer the TLM, that’s all).
Thank you for your guidance on this, to anyone who responds.
