took the beginning of part 5, put it in your own multiplied words, added all kinds of unnecessary punctuation, and posted it here.

I’d remind you of two particular passages of Scripture:

“Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery" (Luke 16:18). You’ll notice that their is no notion of an innocent party here.

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Cor. 6:9-10). These are serious matters as far as the Lord is concerned. Therefore, the Church takes them seriously also. Perhaps you would do well to tone down your rhetoric just a bit in dealing with those of us who have a different perspective than you.

Moreover, if we have so many priests, theologians and bishops who we know have the “knowledge and the skills” to understand the Scriptures, believing that the Eucharist should be given to divorced/remarried children of God…doesn’t it tell you something? Or are you going to say that those are heretic priests, theologians and bishops, and need to be “burned at the stake!”???

Is it true that a lot of priests and bishops are allowing this?

The hard cold reality is that there are people who have done exactly what you have described, and later came to understand their mistake, but are now in a situation where there are children involved. They must think of the wellbeing of the Children. Tearing the family apart is often not what is best for a child.

If there is a person other than Our Lady who has had absolute obedience, I would like to meet them. If there is a person other than Mary who recieved our Lord and does not go back to sinning, I would like to read about them.

I actually addressed that in the “living celibately with an adulterous ‘spouse’” line. If there are children involved, then separation might not be possible, but the adulterous sex at the least must cease.

It is not that we are all perfect. Only Our Lady did not fail God. However, absolution is contingent upon true repentance and a firm purpose of amendment. How can I repent of adultery when I going to go back to my adulterous lover after Mass?
