I agree. This law is no different than hate crime legislation. I’m sorry, if you beat up a person or kill them, it’s a hate crime! It doesn’t matter why you beat someone up, you probably hated them!

Faith based bullying is the declaration that heterosexual marriage is inherently superior to homosexual ‘marriage.’ In other words, the Catholic Churches faith is inherently ‘homophobic’ and will bring distress to children of gay parents. It’s beginning to be called ‘hetrosexualism’ and anyone who holds that heterosexual relationships are normative and homosexual relations are in anyway abnormal are bigots. Thus that Catholic Church is engaging in faith based ‘bullying’ by the mere act of being Catholic – which is why they want the schools closed down and handed to the State. Yup, that’s 100% Soviet.

I think you’ll find everyone agrees with you in principle.

The problem is that the ‘discrimination’ and ‘bullying’ being cited is the school teaching that Christianity believes that homosexual unions are not normative. In other words, the state is telling Catholic schools to drop the teaching of the Church or be taken over by the state. The references to ‘bullying’ is a PERCEPTION of bullying through Catholic TEACHING – not physical or verbal abuse. Catholic schools are being told “Teach that homosexuality is GOOD!”

In other words, any distinction between homosexual and heterosexual unions is seen as discriminatory and bullying. It’s all about normalising the new civil unions – changing perceptions and thus, irradicating Church teaching.

…because tolerating the fact that people have differences of opinion on the morality of certain acts would be, you know, tolerant. Stonewall can’t be tolerant of those intolerant people who disagree with them. No people who don’t agree with them are bigots and bullies. Britain, I’m afraid, is a lost cause, just as the former United States was…they were both good countries, but neither one exists any more. The longer it goes, the more I become convinced that there is no way to salvage these cultures; the only thing you can do is to withdraw from them.
