Our dad always respected other religions. He allowed us kids to be baptized in the Church because our mother was Catholic, and he allowed us to receive the sacraments and participate in the Mass.
When Jehovah’s Witnesses came around, he was polite to them. He understood that they were sincere in their beliefs, although he never joined them.
Perhaps a sit-down with all concerned and a discussion about tolerance and consideration for parental authority and roles is merited, here. It’s a matter of respect, and once everyone in your family realizes that, I predict most of those problems will go away.
Just remind them that God loves us all, and expects us to love one another. That should go a long way toward resolution.
