Brother-in-law dieing of terminal cancer

My brother-in-law has terminal prostate cancer which has spread to his bones. He was recently moved to hospice to help mange his pain. He is not expected to live much longer.

He is a fairly young man in his mid-thirties and the cancer he has is a rare form that did not respond well to treatment.

Please pray that he is in God’s loving care during what appears to be his last days.

I feel it is important to mention that my brother-in-law is a Jehovah Witness and not Baptised in the Trinity. Please pray for a Baptism of desire for him.

Praying for him. Please say a Divine Mercy Chaplet for him, as will I.
 
Most Merciful Jesus, I pray that, by the agony of your Sacred Heart and by the sorrows of your Immaculate Mother, you be with those who are in their last suffering and will leave this world soon. Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have mercy on the dying. AMEN
 
Overwhelmingly sad…May The Lord of His Endless Mercy and Understanding grant this man Eternal Salvation granting him Baptism of Desire, which being sincere in his beliefs will be granted to him…

He will only have the desire if he hears the truth. I will pray for both of you.

I am very sorry and saddened to hear of your brother-in-law’s condition. I will remember him and your family in my evening prayers.

Say the Divine Mercy Chaplet by his deathbed. Jesus promised great graces for the dying if someone prays this Chaplet during their last moments.
Do not despair of his eternal salvation, only God knows what is in his soul and He is not a stern Judge but the most merciful Father!❤️
 
I am praying for this young man,I will say the chaplet,and be assured only GOD knows his heart,and HIS and understanding surpasses anything we can know.:heaven:

O My Lord and Savior, support Stylteralmaldo’s brother-in-law in his last hour by the strong desire to know You through Your Church. Let him hear, at least in his heart, the words, “Absolvo te.”

Reader of the Hearts of Men, we have every confidence that you will judge his intentions accordingly. May his angel whisper peace to him, and we ask that you reveal to him at the last though the Virgin Mother and the intercession of all the saints the Truth of your Church.

Hold his family in your arms and let them know the presence of your Comforter, the Holy Spirit.

Thank you all. I prayed the chaplet for him yesterday during the hour of Mercy (3pm).

I’m not sure how much I can personally help him to know the truth. I met him just once about twelve years ago. My wife and he were never close as youths. However, they did have a conversation during the past week for the first time in years. My wife has a particular devotion to the Divine Mercy. I pray she can or perhap already did reveal the Truth to him as you inquired here. If not, I pray they have another opportunity before he passes away (barring a miracle cure).
