Thank you all. I prayed the chaplet for him yesterday during the hour of Mercy (3pm).

I’m not sure how much I can personally help him to know the truth. I met him just once about twelve years ago. My wife and he were never close as youths. However, they did have a conversation during the past week for the first time in years. My wife has a particular devotion to the Divine Mercy. I pray she can or perhap already did reveal the Truth to him as you inquired here. If not, I pray they have another opportunity before he passes away (barring a miracle cure).
Just as there are some demons cast out only through prayer, only prayer will lead him to the truth. Here’s praying for him.

Hello to all,

I would like to personally thank all of you that have/are praying for my brother, Tony. It is very heartwarming and brings tears to my eyes and chills to my soul that all of you are tenderheartedly faithful to pray for him.

The power of prayer is unfathomable!

Keep praying for him.

PS. God will reveal the truth to him, even if it is during his last second before his death. Just know that he has strong love and devotion to our God and Father in heaven. Because of his love for God, he will choose the truth, and be embraced in God’s merciful heart.

Thank you to all!

My brother-in-law Tony (user SirOscar’s brother) died Friday afternoon. Please pray for the repose of his soul and the comfort for the family during this time. Thank you.

Loving God of all mercy, graciously hear our prayers for the repose of the soul of Anthony. We know of your endless mercy and grace that amazes. Lord of love, may You have revealed Your truth to Anthony’s heart in his final moments. May he have received the baptism of desire based upon Your Divine revelation to him. We ask this though Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

This prayer you mention is more needed than you may realize. My wife, as a disfellowshipped Jehovah Witness, is not allowed to comfort her sister in-law during this time through the church. We can attend the service held for Tony, but afterward there is a gathering to help support the immediate family. We can not attend this part of the healing process. We are very disheartened by this. 😦

We are trying to arrange a gathering where the disfellowshipped members can show there support outside of the church somewhere, but I don’t know if or how this will materialize. The whole thing just doesn’t make sense to me (isn’t church the place where we can best heal and not someplace away from it  ).

Please pray that Tony’s wife and children can somehow realize how much her non-Jehovah Witness friends and family support them at this time.

Thank you.

Merciful and loving God, your goodness knows no limits. Grant that those who loved Tony and those who wish to comfort his grieving family may express their Christian love. Let love be the lamp that is set upon a stand so that all hearts may be illuminated. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Praying for your BIL. I pray that he will allow your wife (and the rest of their non-JW family members and friends) to come near him in this time of his life. I also pray for his soul, and that God may bring him closer to Him, somehow.

I’m so sorry for what your wife is and has gone through with all of this… I will say a special prayer for her now.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Will keep in daily prayer…

Thank you all so much for the prayers!

God found a way for us to show our Christian love for the family. My wife’s mother (a Jehovah Witness herself) did invite us to participate in the “repass” as they call it. It nice we were able to help support the family at this time. I am confident your prayers played a large part in this being able to take place. Thank you all very much. :hug3:

Not even the hardest heart on earth can resist the power of prayer! Praise God in Heaven!

Christ’s peace be always with you.
