Brother! Miss you. Take care!
Praised be God that things are OK & stable!Hello friends, brothers and sisters:
To all of you who are praying for me, sending me PMs, emails and just following along, I want to thank you and offer a very special prayer for you and your loved ones as a sign of appreciation, because I don’t have anything material that I can give you as a gift.
So far, I’m managing to stay out of the hospital The last time I was in the hospital was in March. I’ve been in four times this year. Everything seems to be stable for the time being. I’m not cured, but I’m not going down either. I’m at a standstill.
I thank you for the prayers. Your prayers made things stabilize.
I come through here once in a while and read, but there is so much that I could speak to that I don’t have the energy to become involved in all the wonderful discussions that are taking place all over CAF. Right now, I’m trying to get my community in order. We’re getting more inquirers. This is a good thing. The brothers are very helpful with this. I still like to touch base with these men and learn a little about them.
From August 13 to August 20, I’ll be on retreat and with two days to spare, I hope to visit my hometown. I have not been there in a very long time. The Trappists have a monastery in the area. That’s where I’m going on retreat. Pray that the airline will cooperate. I have to carry a portable oxygen concentrator, but the rules are very strict. I’m trying to get one that the airline will approve. Unfortunately, the FAA does not have a standard rule for these things. Each airline makes up its own rules as far as size, brand name and even the size of the battery.
I’d like to ask you to pray for a very special intention. I have a friend who is upset about something. He’s the kind of person who tortures himself turning things over and over in his head until a pebble become a boulder. I hate to see him this way; but nothing that I can say has helped. I know that this kind of thinking takes away a person’s interior peace. Please pray for him. I truly appreciate it.
Thank you for your friendship and for everything that you do for me. You’re awesome.
Don’t forget, August 14 is the Solemnity of St Maximilian Kolbe. Well, it’s a solemnity on our calendar, because he’s the patron of Franciscans for Life. He’s a memorial on the OF calendar and does not register on the EF calendar. But remember to say a little prayer to him. He was a great man.

Will be praying, still. I read the blog entry this morning. Was marvelous! Some great points to make with those who don’t “get” Mary, thank you so much for that!Praying for your siblings, children, your brothers, and of course, you too.
:angel1:
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

May God bless you brother and may you and your family have a wonderful and joyous reunion. My your brothers be strengthened in faith and may the love they share help to guide many souls to Our Lord.Hello brothers and sisters:
This week, we prepare to celebrate two very important holy days for our community, the Solemnity of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, our patron, and the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I’d like to say more here. But I’m really tired. However, I did insert something into our blog that I hope you get a chance to read.
Cast into the deep . . .
Please keep us in your prayers. On Wednesday, I’m flying to see my hometown, which I have not seen in five years. Please pray for me, my siblings, children and my brothers.
