  1. Always the grace to cheerfully accept the will of God.

  4. The my Franciscans of Life will persevere in proclaiming the Gospel of Life to the voiceless long after I’ve gone.
  5. When I get to heaven, I be granted the honor of becoming a special advocate for single and widowed dads.

Update:
Just a quick note to thank you for your prayers help and ask that you hang in there with them. The hard news is that i’m still in bad shape. I can barely lift my head from the pillow. The good news is that the medication and treatments are working. While i can’t walk further than a few feet for fear of passing out, i can now sit up for about 10 minutes at a time. I couldn’t do that a week ago. I’m also spending less time on oxygen. I was on oxygen 24/7. As of two days ago, they lowered the amount of oxygen from four psis to two and i can take off the cannula and leave it off for as long as i can tolerate it. I still have to sleep with it. I had a ct-scan and the pneumonia bacteria are clearing up nicely. One of the nurses had a sage piece of advice for me. “stay away from germs.”
