Bush Budget Projects A Surplus by 2012

In related news, Bush plans to run deficits for four more years.
 
I seem to recall…hmmm, was I dreaming?..people on this board talking about illusionary surpluses by a recently past administration?
And Bob, you of all people know how they “cook the books.”

Poor GWB. He just keeps on spewing the Brown Sugar in the hopes that someone will believe him. I’ll bet even his parents will be glad when his reign is over!

I’ll be they won’t.

I’m happy with the way GWB is running this country ( except for not reigning in the border problem ).

Whoever wins the next election… lets just pray they aren’t liberal. That would be a mistake. Usually is.

If I were cooking em we’d be having a surplus. the best way to balance the budget is a nominal tax on the nearly 50% of Americans who pay no Federal Income tax. its hard to have a surplus when half the popualtion gets a free ride.

Tax revenue is at record highs as a result of the tax cuts insitututed in in 2001. unemoplyment is at historic lows. So havung seen the positive effects of cutting taxes what do the democrats want to do? Raise taxes of course.

With the Democrat party you gert high taxes, high spending, more regualation, dead children , homosexual marriage, and govt sponsored disrimination based on the color of your skin .

Why would anyone support them?

Maybe some of these folks don’t want to take responsibility for themselves. It’s much easier to sit back and let government take care of them.

True-the bedrock beleif of the Democrat party is people are no competent to take care of themselves.
