Actually that is not what you did. Before you said we believe Bush can do no wrong period. Something I doubt any serious mind believes although that does not seem to stop the hyperbole. Now you are asking me if he did wrong here, to which I answer who knows? Israel/Palestine is a complicated issue and instead of merely poo-pooing how Bush does it (btw, according to the article it seems that the US House is more blameworthy), offer a better alternative. This is why he is Pres. and not Kerry. People may not have been wild about Bush’s anwers, but at least the were answers. Nobody had clue one what Kerry’s solutions were beyond sell out.
Well, the better alternative is a traditionally Catholic monarchy of course 👍

This is why I am a-political. Both political parties are founded on false, modern notions of human nature and human rights independent of natural law. That being said; I do tend to vote republican only because I cannot (and will not) vote for a pro-choice candidate on the issue of abortion. In elections where both candidates are pro-abortion, I abstain.

I don’t think anyone is overly passionate about war, even those of us who do not feel it was wrong to go into Iraq. How many years should we have waited and how many sanctions should the UN (toothless tiger) have placed on Iraq before we said “enough is enough?” We may not have found WMD, despite the fact that many people and many governments thought they were there, but the fact that they were not found DOES NOT mean they were not there.

The US does help Israel whenever it can. After all, it is the only democracy (socialistic as it is) in that part of the world.
Well, is it a democracy? For Jews I suppose. Not for Christians. Israel actively persecutes Christians, especially members of my Church, the Melkites.

Perhaps the Vatican should spend more time worrying about saving souls than politics? Without a doubt, liberal Catholics have sold their souls to Satan over the abortion issue but why do conservatives have to do the same? Bush is what he is. He is a corporate man, a political aristocrat of relatively low/moderate intelligence, who does what his most trusted advisors (Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice) tell him to do. I’ve nothing against the man. He is where he is because of fate. But I don’t see him as a champion of justice and righteousness, no matter how much he proclaims that “Jesus is in his heart.”

And your proof of this is? That’s really a tacky (as we say in the South) thing to say.

The Israelis treat the Palestinians like dogs.
And how have they not done the same to Israel? The Jewish people have been treated like dogs for centuries. They deserve to live as a free people in their own land- as their national anthem says is their hope.

True, but that doesn’t make Israel’s treatment toward the Palestinians just.

Sure they do. The Palestinians have a right to land as much as the Israelis do. So what is your point? Everybody talks about the wrongs the Palestinians terrorists did, but no one ever talks about the wrongs Israelis did. Naturally the neo-conservatives say “support Israel”. I will not support the state of Israel, cause I believe in fair treatment to both groups, Israeli and Arab.
