By what authority did five major US States simultaneously stop counting votes?

Why? That was in the Ukraine. Applying it here is just conjecture that begs the question. There is not a logical connection, any more than all the illogical connections that Trump was like Hitler.
 
No states have stopped counting. It’s a myth with no evidence. Do not fall for what you see on social media, like so many Catholics are doing.
 
Joe Biden was not running against Jesus, despite what you may think of Trump.

Well, certainly that’s what Trump was doing when he seeded doubt in mailed ballots for months and then declared victory early. And based on this thread he seems to have succeeded in carrying out that manipulation. Some states flipped blue as the count continued, as predicted, and Trump voters feel cheated.
 
Mail in voting, I made sure I delivered my vote in person, wearing a mask.

Some countries have effectively banned mail in voting as too vulnerable to fraud.

Then, there are others who praise the use.
Trump’s leading and just like with Norm Coleman vs. Al Franken in about 2008 or Scott Walker vs. Ever (2018, I’m unsure of the exact dates), the mail ins come in and someone else is leading. Alrighty.

The question is whether it is merely conjecture or provable. That is not predetermined by dismissing it a priori as conjecture. It is determined by establishing that the guidelines that were used to characterize Ukraine’s election as fraudulent are not actually in play in the US. Time will determine the legitimacy of the prima facie similarities.

Having worked for the Postal Service for a year, I know better. We were remodeling at the time and things were removed, we found over a dozen letters that literally fell thru the cracks.

What is to say your handed in ballot would not literally fall thru the cracks? I don’t trust humans. I trust our paper ballot that I mark up and I personally feed into the tally machine.

I will always vote in person even if I have to do in a hazmat suit.

Superficially speaking what you say appears plausible, however…
  1. For Biden to truly have garnered more votes than Obama in his best showing, the bellweather states and counties would have gone to Biden. These are locations across the country that routinely move across party lines because they are not staunchly one or the other. They didn’t. Trump won many of those or they split.
  2. The places where Biden gained incredible numbers that gave him the most votes of any candidate ever were places where turnouts were 75% and much higher. Some over 100% supposedly because of new registrations. The problem is that phenomenon occurred only in the states still in play and not uniformly across the country. The other issue here is that these places have very dirty voter rolls that have high numbers of ineligible voters. Ergo, to attain 75 to 85% voter turnout means large numbers of ineligible voters must have turned out. Which is a good reason for warranting a full scale audit and hand tabulation of ballots rather than merely feeding ballots through the scanners once more.

The problem is that it isn’t always a person as trustworthy as you filling out the ballot and feeding it through the machine.

Our machines takes the ballot in and does not spit it back out.

I saw when a machine became 75% full, they call the auditor and the auditor video records the ballots being taken out of the machine and placed in a safe.

When I vote in person, my paper ballot is a printed QR code. The ballot worker instructed me to feed it into a machine. The machine takes the tally and does not return the paper ballot; that is kept

Confirmation bias. California’s count is as 77% still. Ohio is at 92%.

A cynic might conclude that Democrat controlled states and counties that make up the large bulk of delays are coordinating their tabulations so that if a Dem Senator or House Rep don’t quite make it in other jurisdictions the marginal places are still available to be massaged to make up the difference.

Joe did say the Democrats have the most inclusive and extensive fraud network in the world. 😒
