Prayer of Healing for Heart Disease

Loving Father, You bring healing to the sick and
make them well again. Trusting in Your great
love and mercy, I lift up to You a CAF member
with heart disease.

Let Your divine love flow into the recesses
of her being. Touch her heart and all the other
areas afflicted with sickness. Let all her organs
function normally and her blood flow properly.

Bring healing to all her nerves, muscles, and
tissues, especially those surrounding her heart.
Console her, ease her pain and suffering, and
restore her to full health in body, mind, and spirit.

May she find hope in suffering and offer it as
a share in Your Son’s own Passion. Create a new
heart in her and renew her life, loving Father.
After she has been healed, may she be a witness
of Your healing power and love and bring glory,
honor, and praise to You.

All this we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Those Struggling With Burdens

“Come to me, all you who labor and are
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take
my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

– Matthew 11:28-30 (NABRE)

No matter what problem I have, Lord,
You are bigger,
You are more powerful than it is.
So I bring my problem to You.

I know what I want.
I know my will.
I do not know Yours.

I do not know how You will use
this problem for my salvation.
I do not know what good You
will work out from this evil.

But I trust You.

I trust Your goodness and Your wisdom.
So I place myself in Your hands.
Please fill my heart with peace. Amen.

Father of goodness and love,

and for all who are in need.
Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness,
make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts.

We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.

Dear Lord be their protector and defender in this time of trouble.
Surround them with the Holy Angels, so that they may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide their life journey, so they will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Praying~

O loving messenger of the Incarnation, descend upon all those for whom I wish peace and happiness. Spread your wings over the cradles of the new-born babes, O thou who didst announce the coming of the Infant Jesus.
Give to the young a lily petal from the virginal scepter in your hand.
Cause the Ave Maria to re-echo in all hearts that they may find grace and joy through Mary. Finally, recall the sublime words spoken on the day of the Annunciation–
“Nothing is impossible with God,” and repeat them in hours of trial–
to all I love–that their confidence in Our Lord may be reanimated,
when all human help fails.

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician
and Healer of the sick,
we turn to you in this time of illness.
O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden.
Dear God, we place our worries
in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us.

We beseech thee to help us in all our needs and trials of this life, as thou, through the power of God, didst restore sight and give guidance to young Tobit. We humbly seek thine aid and intercession, that our souls may be healed, our bodies protected from all ills, and that through divine grace we may be made fit to dwell in the eternal Glory of God in heaven.
