Man that’s really twisted.
He actually was given a mark by God. And he did find a wife in the land of Nod. I always wondered exactly what that mark was.I saw it mentioned on a satanism board, idea being Cain was scolded for bringing mere vegetables for an offering as opposed to Abel’s blood offering, so when he then sacrificed Abel’s blood he was rewarded with the Mark so no man would kill him.
She is a vampiric night-demoness, and she is mentioned in Isaiah in the Bible. She is one of the consorts of the demon Samael. Her spawn are called Lilim, and there are two kinds: incubi and succubi.Ah, sounds like a vampire tale to me. I once wrote a delicious short story about the “Curse of Cain”. …She is an interesting figure in that there are references to her in ancient Sumer. She was the Night Queen who screeched like an owl. In a fragment of the Gilgamesh she may have been Ki-sikil-lil-la-ke, or translated Lilith, a night demoness with talons for feet. I can see why she was considered a vampiric demoness.
Where in Isaiah? She is a vampiric night-demoness, and she is mentioned in Isaiah in the Bible. She is one of the consorts of the demon Samael. Her spawn are called Lilim, and there are two kinds: incubi and succubi.
A lot of the goth/vampire/satanist types use “von” like Marilyn Manson’s ex-wife Dita von Teese, and Suicide Girls. It’s just another fad.Kind_von_Kain = Child of Cain?
Well, even if true, which I do happen to know that some who post here are satanists, God loves them and wants them too. Half of my relatives are into the occult. Not all are bad, just deceived. My own grandmother was a pagan.google cainist…about 700 hits. Ranging from role players on a jedi council forum to Satanists. A cainist is just another word for Satanist.
Hence the new join trolling here is a Satanist.
Interact at your own peril. I will now not open this thread again.
Bingo. Also, Libre de vitae? I’m no expert but if thats supposed to be Latin it doesn’t much look like it.Anyone consider whether the OP is a joke? How many of us have actually heard of this professed faith? I don’t believe the OP.
I had forgotten about that! He is right, it depends however upon which translation you use. But in some the Hebrew word does translate to Lilith.Where in Isaiah?
Paul
Isaiah 34:14):
"The wild creatures of the desert shall meet with the jackals, the goat demon shall call to his fellow, the lilith shall also repose there and find for herself a place of rest."
It’s also perfectly ordinary German. And yes, it translates to ‘child of Cain’.A lot of the goth/vampire/satanist types use “von” like Marilyn Manson’s ex-wife Dita von Teese, and Suicide Girls. It’s just another fad.
Since those satanist types also seem to be “von Crowleys” at some point it may be an offshoot of Thelema or something. It’s also perfectly ordinary German. And yes, it translates to ‘child of Cain’.
My first reaction was like Hastrman’s – but the White Wolf mythos spells the name ‘Caine’. And there’s no ‘liber (‘libre’ looks like a typo) de vitae’ sourcebook I’m aware of.
Where might one find this book?
Yes. It is no doubt that Lilith is a part of Christian demonology, and is in fact, a real, actual, demonic being, just like Satan or Be’elzebub or any other demon mentioned in the Bible.I had forgotten about that! He is right, it depends however upon which translation you use. But in some the Hebrew word does translate to Lilith.
The NRSV:Code:Isaiah 34:14:
Wildcats shall meet with hyenas,
goat-demons shall call to each other;
there too Lilith shall repose,
and find a place to rest.
There shall the owl nest
and lay and hatch and brood in its shadow.
