If it’s at the right places I can make TWO brunches! And I have a friend from new Orleans with a closetful of shiny shirts. 😃
You MUST accessorize correctly! Gay men now hold the Governor of California, the MSM, the Democratic party, the banking industry (hey, someone had to take over from the Jews), most of the federal government (ditto), all the health professions, the public schools, and Europe in our grip. (Limp wrists can be SO deceiving.) The wrong accessories send the wrong message. One simply cannot take over the world wearing a wooden pendant and silver bracelets with a shiny aqua shirt. Especially if one has a winter skin tone. 😃

My only concern is, when are you guys going to get around to banning religion from the entire world? I’m actually not for that, per se, but the little scholar in me WOULD be interested in seeing how a world with no religion would function. 🙂

Now why would the Homosexual Mafia along with Gov. Arnold go around banning religion? We’re religious.

We bow to Mecca 5 times a day praying with our brothers. We’re sweating, swaying, shouting and praising in the Baptist choir. We wear white shirts and ties in the Latter Day Saint temples. And robes in the Buddist ones. We honor our ancestors in Japan. We chant in our circles on Samhain. We cremate our dead in India with devout Hindu rites. We bring gifts and pray at our relatives’ Bar Mitzvah. We sit in the Methodist pews. We kneel in the Catholic ones. We play the piano or organ in almost every church in the US . We’re in every faith. And we’re not going away.

Oooh, and unlike a lot of minorities, you can hide. Very insidious, I like.

GENERAL NOTICE

The rules of the Catholic Answers Forum, to which you agreed on registering, require that members be respectful of Catholicism, as well as of other faiths. This includes the Church’s teaching on abortion, homosexuality and homosexual behavior. Open and frank discussions that are also civil and courteous are encouraged.

The Church’s teaching on homosexuality can be found in the Catholic Catechism, here. Also note that the Church teaches:

Homosexual acts go against the natural moral law. Homosexual acts “close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved”… Nonetheless, according to the teaching of the Church, men and women with homosexual tendencies “must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided”. They are called, like other Christians, to live the virtue of chastity. The homosexual inclination is however “objectively disordered” and homosexual practices are “sins gravely contrary to chastity”.

Why?? I have no problem with homosexuals but why do they have to flaunt it in my face in “gay pride” events? Can’t we all just live happily? Can’t they keep their sexuality in the bedroom? I don’t see any “straight pride” events (they’d probably be called homophobic anyway  ) If they wan’t to live like that then fine but please don’t shove it in my face. Also, these gay pride events are not clean parades… they’re practically pornography.

I see where your point, but (I genuinely don’t know this) are they televised - anyone? I know the British ones arent - also in Manchester, I think they only tend to parade around the gay village area - so I am guessing you wouldn’t go there if you didn’t want to see stuff like that anyway… 😛

I believe, that if we are to live in a place where we all can feel free to express ourselves as a person who is significantly a part of something, then we have to respect each others right to this. So for example, if we wish to have our right to religion and practice it then we have to recognise that other people have a right to show their part of something.

I recognise that this is a really bad description of my feelings on the matter - I am struggling a little to expalin myself - I think it boils down to freedom and not letting any religion rule our politics - perhaps… 😉

I do not endorse gay pride parades but if the governor wants to it doesn’t bother me.

I’ll send you an application. You also have to promise to dress fashionably and attend at least one brunch a month. 😉
Fantastic! I have dreadful taste and use my gay friends to do my clothes shopping, so that’s easy.

I have a stick-on handlebar moustache, if I can get it back from my sister, should I wear that too?

Would it bother you if the governor endorsed a Pederast or beastiality parade?

Actually that would but two consenting adults that might not be Catholic are still free to follow their desires until such time as they join the Church. We cannot impose Catholic teaching on them.

Your not thinking this out, goofyjim:
  1. Beastiality is against the law, in part, because it is considered cruel to animals.
  2. Not only is having sex with under aged kids against the law, but it is victomizing the weak.

So should we have laws prohibiting homosexual acts between consenting adults? How would they be enforced?

You are asking a different question now than the one you answered.

You should also know that the homosexual culture in San Francisco does allow for beastiality and sex with teenagers. It is not brought up in political circles, but it is talked about in the bars.

Homosexual behavior is a mortal sin. As a Catholic I cannot endorse it nor do I wish my elected represtatives who have my proxy to endorse it. This is not a matter of “live and let live” when you have people whose salaries I am paying through my taxes endorsing mortal sin and spiritual corruption.

How many tax dollars are going twoards divorces et al. The state continues to okay this but noone complains. I only seek equality. we should ban it all or be willing to live with it all. Mind you I don’t promote homosexual acts. I am a single male who has SSA but would love to marry a woman who understood what I struggle with. Infortunately there aren’t too many out there.

Are you saying two wrongs makes a right?

Equality in doing wrong is still doing wrong. And no, it is not an all or nothing situation. If it were, we would never have any laws because we could never agree to what “banning all” really is.

Being envious that someone else is getting away with sin is in itself a venial sin.

No envy here. It just bothers me that even the Church is soft on divorce these days with all the annulments, hides the priest abuse of children for several years, though not as exxagerated as the public would like it to be, and then continues to tell the homosexuals that they are the worst sinners out there.

The Church has never said that homosexual behavior is the worst of sins. What we are saying is that it will keep you out of heaven, so for you it is extremely bad.
