I saw this show on Medgar Evers, Civil Rights Leader (1960s)… He was murdered and the killer got away with it for 27 years… Then his widow wanted another trial… they exhumed the body and it was, as one person said, in remarkable condition… I don’t think the body they actually showed was HIS body… cause it was a re-enactment… (Ghosts of Mississippi)… but if his body looked anything like the one shown… he was definitely incorrupt…
I feel he was a martyr because he knew his life was in danger and he stood up for justice anyway… (and his oppressed people)…
I tend to think the same thing about ML King Jr… He knew he was going to be assasinated… yet he did what needed to be done…
I know they weren’t Catholic (well, actually, i only know about King…)… but they may have been leaning toward it… (?)… and anywya… a lot of peple are saints who are not officially recognized by the Church as such… (Catholics)…
