@DeniseNY…You are so wrong…I have been a Catholic all my life and continue to be.
You judge me because I am asking question.
I will no longer post here anymore, consider this as my last post just to prove to you that I was not here to argue with anybody.
Good luck

No one is judging you. We are making observations based off of your posts and what seems to be you evading a forthright question.

And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity. 2 The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him. (Matthew 10:1-4)

And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. 3 And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. 4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. (Luke 8:1-6)
Does not the word “they” in Luke 8:6, who went through the villages, healing everywhere, mean the twelve apostles and wasn’t Judas Iscariot one of the twelve apostles?

The Bible is the truly Word of God, and It is above all, I repeat above all writings.
How would you even know that it’s the Word of God without the Church saying that it was though? Where in the Bible does it establish itself as the only source of the Word of God? Where in the Bible does it say that the Bible is the sole and final authority? You know what it does say? From 1 Timothy 3:15:
“3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
The Catholic Church is the pillar and ground of truth. The Catholic Church is God’s Church, and all of its authority is from God alone.

I think you have a number of things confused. A priest would not, and should not, refuse to give a person Communion because the person is in a state of sin. The priest has no means of knowing this. Therefore, what you describe should not happen.

You then go on to cite canon 915 but this canon does not refer to sinners in general. It is much more specific.

The simple fact is the validity of a sacrament is not dependent on the holiness of the minister who administers it.

@dochawk…your statement truly raised my eyebrows. I think those that are not following Scriptures are in grave error.
As scripture is published by the church and entirely dependent upon the authority of the church (and nothing you said contradicts this*), there is no inconsistency between that authority and following the scripture published under that authority.

It is indeed grave error to oppose the church’s teaching authority, whether by contradicting scripture, or otherwise.
You judge me because I am asking question.
No-one is judging you; we’re just pointing out that what your are saying about scripture is incorrect and contradicts church teaching and authority.
