The Stigmata was taken out of the current Roman Calendar and is only celebrated by the Franciscan family as a feast. Unlike the Solemnity of St. Francis, which is a holy day of obligation for all of the Franciscan orders. I can’t recall what feast day replaced it in the Roman calendar.BrJR, good catch.
I also notice the rest of the Oct 4th Mass (aside from the Collect, Secret, and Postcommunion) is also the Mass of The Imprinting of the Holy Stigmata on the Body of St. Francis, celebrated on Sep 17th.
