I am married to a catholic. We have been married almost 20 years and I decided to convert. We are an older couple.
So my spouse is in the process of trying to get last marriage (to a Catholic) before me annulled.
I am completing my catechism classes end of the month.
I have a previous marriage to someone. When I married that first time, I was not baptized and that spouse was also not baptized at that time.
About 10 years after that divorce from that first marriage I was baptized in a protestant church but have no record of it.
My spouse and I are living as brother and sister now. My spouse takes communion each week so that should be obvious to the priest. I don’t of course because I am not confirmed.
So now that my classes are near the end, is there anything in the way of my being confirmed - Even if I have to be conditionally baptized because I have no record of 1st baptism?
Thanks in advance
