Then I think you are fine.To address some people’s concerns. Yes, my wife and I still go to mass. We have no children, and my wife does help with the house when I work on Sunday. We both enjoy the work, but we’re just ready for the house to be done! Which is why we’re even considering working on sundays… we usually have a very laid back day.
An example of when working on Sundays isn’t a good, is if you were using it as a way to avoid your family.
For example, my dad has/had a tendency in the summer to do yard work on Sunday so he can be by himself.
However, now that he’s retired, if continues to do such such work on Sunday, it would not be a good thing, as he now has all week to do yard work.
I think motivation is a big part. Some people literally do work on Sunday (consciously or subconsciously) so they can claim to be too busy for Church and/or family.
