Can men dress immodestly?

I find sweat pants on certain men very immodest. I can understand wearing them at the gym, or at home, but not on public transport or to church, which I have seen. Especially if the fabric is getting old or thin, I find them too revealing.

As for skirts, they do help a lot of women look more feminine, but I haven’t worn one in about six years. I don’t like the way skirts make me feel, vulnerable, old-fashioned, encumbered.

LumineDiei, do you think long hair on a woman is more feminine than short hair? Do you think dress shoes are more feminine for women than runners?

It doesn’t matter that it wasn’t. It still remains the same. Pointing out a fact on a related topic. Interesting that on a modesty thread, we have comments about lust. If that post was by a guy talking about nuns habits, and another guy yucking it up about getting on the confession line, I don’t think too many women would find that amusing.

I COMPLETELY agree with this.

I get that it doesn’t take much. (I’m married, so I know this to be true.) But pants? PANTS. I mean… pants? That’s what we’re not getting here.

It’s quite possible if the pants are tight-fitting. Very possible in fact.

Are the pants tight-fitting? Because if so, then yes, it really doesn’t take much at all.

Oh my dear Lord. You do realize I’m in my forties and not a teenager, correct? And that I’m not the only person who cracked along those lines? We’re adults, not twelve year olds. Men are attractive. Certain men are more attractive than others. Certain women are more attractive than others. We all find certain things more attractive than others. It’s some of those little facts of life that contribute to the human experience.

Please don’t parent me.

It doesn’t take much is what I’m trying to say.
If the sight of a woman in slacks sets you off that much, then you need to see a doctor. That is not normal.
I would tend to agree with that.

Thought that was the guy from Grey’s Anatomy at first, then realized it was Alpha M 🤣

Padre pio use to make men wear trousers when they came into his church.

I wasn’t posting it for laughs. It was a genuine thing that happened to me that I couldn’t in any way control and I was posting it to point out that what individual people find attractive is hugely variable. What could be theoretically more modest than a cassock on a man? Yet I’ve never been more attracted to a man.

Like, if you were to think of skinny jeans.

I attend public school. What I encounter on a day-to-day basis is girls wearing leggings.

I cracked up when you said you rejoined JUST to post it. I thought that was hilarious.

I don’t exactly want to reveal my age on a public forum, but I’ll say a teenager.
