Can millions of people talk to the Blessed Mother at the same time?

How about Pedro Pia ?

Or other saints?

Remember that time applies only to us here on earth. Once we enter eternity, the clock and the calendar stop. We will exist in an entirely different state - one that is difficult to ponder, as our earthly understanding is limited.

All of the Saints are thus - standing in God’s presence. We age here on earth, but do not and cannot in heaven, as we will be eternal beings then. As such, the Saints have all eternity to hear and petition the Father on our behalf.

Hmm…why not?

Just as God granted us the ability to perceive lots of vibrant colors while plants cannot, Our Lady must have been given that ability in her glorified body and soul…

The thing to keep in mind is prayers to Mary and the Saints is only possible because, living or dead, we are all members of the Body of Christ. Therefore, it is only through God’s willing it, that Mary and the Saints can communicate with each other in heaven or with us. So basically, Mary is able to hear as many prayers as God wills her to hear.

I great analogy that I heard once, which is so perfect because it relates the human body to the Body of Christ.

Keep in mind that Christ is the head of the Body and we are all members of his body.

If I took a large pin and jabbed you in the hand what would happen? You would most likely pull your hand away?

Well think about it did your hand pull itself away all on it’s own? Nope… the pain receptors send a signal up to your brain, which in turn sends a signal right back down to the muscles in your hand and tells your hand what to do?

It’s the same way with prayers to a member of the body. You pray to Padre Pio, the prayer goes through him and up to God. Since God is all loving and wants us to have a share in His love, He sends the prayer right back down to Padre Pio and gives him the grace He needs to hear your prayer.

Isn’t it amazing? God doesn’t need our help to do anything. Yet just like a loving Father He does the heavy lifting and allows us, his children, to participate in His work, giving us the opportunity to align our will with His.

Hope this helps,

God Bless

You’ve never seen a mother of many children shopping with them in a store, have you? Of course, millions can talk to her! 😉

LOLOL…

I about lost it…

“Pedro Pia”… hahhahahahahhahahahahaha!

Sacred Scripture (Tobit 12:12-15) indicates that, at least some of our prayers are taken to heaven by means of angelic messengers. This is also suggested by Jacob’s vision of angels ascending and descending a ladder between heaven and earth. (Genesis 28:12)

If angels can go to heaven and communicate significantly faster than we can, then I see no problem with the Virgin Mary or some other saint indirectly hearing the prayers of millions of people prayed at the same time via angelic messengers, who would presumably communicate all those prayers to the Virgin Mary or other saint in rapid but orderly succession, one at a time.

There is no such thing as time as we understand it in Heaven or hell.

Padre Pio is once known, while on Earth, for having prayed for one of his dead ancestors who he never knew to be released from Purgatory. The prayer, he said, would have the same effect as if one had prayed it immediately after the person’s death.

When you pray to the Blessed Mother, you have her attention moreso than the attention of a person on Earth who is listening to you and nobody else.

BVM, yes.
Pedro Pia…assuming who ever he is, is in heaven
Other Saints, yes?

Why? Because prayer is just like email, and all those in heaven are “Servers” who can handle everything addressed to them…and while it may seem they don’t have a “Reply” button, rest assure they do have “Forward” and all prayers taken to these Servers are forwarded to God!

I don’t believe that the Saints are capable of hearing more than one person at one time, but I believe God can.

YEP and they identify with EACH individual; know who is asking for help or just thanking them; and they NEVER miss anyone. ISN’T GOD GREAT!

Blessings
Patrick
