Can non-Indians join a Syro-Malankara Catholic parish?

I ask because I feel attuned to the West Syriac spirituality and Qurbono. Have any non-Indians transferred to the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church? Thank you.

I joined a Ruthenian parish…not one slav bone in my body but I was graciously accepted and have really come closer to God through the eastern spirituality. No matter who we are, we are all one body with Christ at the head.

Certainly I agree. But mind the Indian nature and if possibly choose parish / community which also celebrates in English (or another language you understand and they offer) in a range comfortable for you.

The Exarch for the Syro-Malankara faithful in the US has determined that at least 2 Sundays per month, the Holy Qurbono is to be celebrated in English. There may be some celebrating in English more than this.

Yes, I emailed the Exarch and he told me the parish in my area has Holy Qurbono in English every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

The Exarch for the Syro-Malankara faithful in the US has determined that at least 2 Sundays per month, the Holy Qurbono is to be celebrated in English. There may be some celebrating in English more than this.
