The solution to this thread is painfully obvious.

It is so obvious that no one has yet discovered it.

This is an example of “can’t see the forest for the trees” syndrome.

People: you are trying too hard to over-analyze the OPs question. The answer, and more to the point now, the reason behind the answer, is much simpler than so many people want to make it, because everyone (so far) is looking for complicated answers to a rather simple question.

I still do not understand the question. You are asking about “when.” The Church doesn’t address the issue of “when.” The Church says that although it can be done, it must never be done.

I think I know what you mean. Sometimes we may think that we can ask a question or contribute to the discussion having no intent of malice what-so-ever, and then everything turns sour and we seem to be caught in the midst of it. Well, Happy Easter!
