*ā€œAn uncivil post tends to draw out incivility in others. Hence, my last response.ā€

I love this! It’s my fault that you chose to act badly. That’s perfect!

Look, you have a choice every second of every day how to respond; you can always choose not to react. And when sitting behind a keyboard you have a thousand extra moments to reconsider what you are typing.

Get real: your post, and your attitude, are your own responsibility.

Wow, I can’t believe we’re almost at the 1000 post on this. There has certainly been a lot of virtual ā€˜ink’ on the subject, many voices heard.

Perhaps an appropriate time, no matter what our ā€˜views’ may be, to think for a moment or two of the millions of voices who will not be heard. . . on this earth. And to pray for us all.

Oh Holy Jesus,

Please forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,
take all souls to heaven,
and help those most in need of Thy mercy.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee!
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary! Mother of God!
Please pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father!
Glory be to the Son!
Glory be to the Holy Spirit!
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Lord Jesus, please protect all unborn children,
keep them safe and loved,
and teach us to accept and love the gifts
You send us in love.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus,
look down from the sky,
and stay by my side until
morning is nigh.

Be with us, Lord Jesus,
we ask ye to stay
close by us forever
and love us, we pray.
Bless ALL the dear children
in Thy tender care,
and take them to heaven
to live with Ye there.

Amen.

Ave Maria! Ora pro nobis.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc,
et in hora mortis nostrae.
Amen.

Oh Holy Mother,
please keep our children safe,
please wrap your arms around them
to keep them warm and loved,
like you wrapped your arms around
your Son, our Holy Savior, Jesus.
Please help those unborn children
here on earth,
for even if they aren’t loved by
those who have received them,
we know they are loved by you.

Please pray for us, Mary.
Please pray for us, Mary.
Please pray for us, Mary.

I offer my heart to thee.

Amen.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you. Save souls.

Lord, please be with the unborn children who have been victimized by abortion. In your mercy, do not let them be ā€˜lost’. We trust in your mercy and love.

Lord, please be with the parents of these unborn children, who also have been victimized by abortion. In your mercy, do not let them be ā€˜lost’. We trust in your mercy and love.

Lord, please be with those who perform these abortions, and who have been victimized too. Turn their hearts and their minds, bring them to repentance. In your mercy, do not let them be lost. We trust in your mercy and love.

Lord, be with us all, who have been victimized by abortion and the loss of children, the hurt of mothers and fathers, the brutalization of society. Bring us to the Truth. In your mercy, do not let us be lost. We trust in your mercy and love.

Dearest Holy Virgin,

Please help us to understand truth,
please help us to maintain our faith
in these times of trouble and strife.
Please help the unborn children who were
murdered today; those innocent ones
who never saw the light of day,
who were ripped from their mothers’ wombs
and killed.
Please help the mothers who have been
maimed by their experience,
please show them the great mercy
of your son, Jesus.
For all is forgiven by God,
our sins are but a drop of water
in an infinite sea of love.
Please end the despair and
self-hatred of those who have erred,
no matter their sin.
For you know that God is loving
and God is merciful
and God wants us to be with Him.

Amen.

Amen.

Murder is not the same as abortion.
What happens to the baby when the mother decides she wants to have an abortion?
does the baby live? NO! That is killing a live child in the womb.
"thou shall not kill . 5th Commandment.

They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
No, it isn’t . Their are two people involved when it comes to having an abortion.
The mother and the child. If she can’t care for the child she can give the baby up for adoption. There are plently of willing folks waiting for children to adopt.
I know, I have two. They have been the joy of our life.
God answered our prayers.
Have your babies, God will be there beside you all the way.

Original sin is not a personal sin… it is the absence of sanctifying grace. That’s why baptism is required to reinstate the sanctifying grace within the soul of the person being baptized.

***Just an aside here, but let’s remember that the ā€œinnocent childā€ is a figment of the pro-life movement’s imagination, as it comes into this world contaminated with Original Sin.

Just sayin’ …

Limerick***
ā€œInnocentā€ in the sense that she is doing no harm to her mother, nor intends any.

ā€œInnocentā€ in the sense that she is doing no harm to her mother, nor intends any.
***And what of those embryos and fetuses that threaten the life of the mother in an undeniable, medically emergent manner? I don’t think your explanation covers all the bases.

***So if I am not under the spell of, or existing without benefit of, sanctifying grace, then I am without sin? Didn’t Jesus die for my sins? Or did He just die for the sins of Latin Rite Roman Catholics? This stuff is circuitous and frustrating.

I pray that we all remember that God is, always has been and always will be, the giver of life and that we are meant to be caretakers of the lives He has entrusted to us - from conception to natural death.

I pray that we remember we are all God’s children deserving of respect and dignity, and owing the same to each other.

*ā€œTruly I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.ā€

I pray for all the babies who never saw the light of day here on this earth, with the confidence that God is holding them in the palm of His hand.

God bless.

Far from being a straw man, it is a valid question.

Perhaps you fear the answer would be as easy to push over as a straw man.
The answer is NO, quite obviously:rolleyes:

What a pointless set of posts.

Just rhetoric.

Thus far there has been nothing obvious about your positions.
It is refreshing to have an actual ā€˜No’ answer.

And there is nothing pointless to an endeavor to understand.

Not rhetoric. Genuine concern. It is very dishonest to the order for you to claim membership, claim to be Catholic, and then post such anti-catholic things. I pray the administration investigates your claims.
