“we agree is false” What is false? Her asking for prayer? Prayer itself? What claim is being studied? Science can’t debunk God or prayer.
the claim that christine o’donnell made was that if people pray for her campaign she will see a spike in the polls. that is a claim that science can indeed debunk.
There are no peer reviewed scientific studies that Study God. Period. God cannot be brought into a laboratory.
so you keep saying, but that is not what i am talking about. i am talking about testing certain assertions that are made about their religions.

for example, if someone claimed that he has been given a spirtual gift from lord krishna that enables him to read minds, we can test that claim. can’t we? if someone claims that if you ask allah daily for long life, you will live longer than those who do not, we can test that claim, can’t we?

So true, I can also believe that it was God’s will for that volcano to erupt, with knowledge of how one erupts. 🙂
It wasn’t his will, it is a result of certain factors accumulating to cause the eruption. God is the volcano, the eruption, the observer, everything around the eruption. It happens in nature, due to natural causes, but the “knowing to erupt” is God, because he just is.

If that makes sense…

You pretty much elaborated what I originally said. Yes, God is everything, he is the Volcano, the eruption and the observer. The eruption, would be his will. His will would be the eruption, as he would have decided it is time.

Could we agree on this simple definition then, “God is and does”?
