Are you asking me how many muslims out of the billion or so are members of a terrorist organization? Are supporters included? Or are you asking for numbers of trigger pullers?
Whatever statistics you claimed in your previous post:
No, they don’t even hold a candle to the sheer body count and member numbers that adherants to muslim groups have.

Yes. We Christians fail and how we should also consider that Jesus died for us.

That said, I think Islam has no such level of adherence that we Christians should exhibit.

That said, I think Islam has no such level of adherence that they need to exhibit, unlike we Christians, having a much higher call to holiness.

Ok, fair point.

Let’s pick a couple of well known incidents.

September 11th, 2997 people killed by muslims on that day. I will never forget the images of literally thousands of muslims, in several countries, filling the streets and jumping for joy over those murders.

Do you have a Christian equivilant you can point out?

January 6th, 20 Christians murdered by gun wielding muslims in Nigeria. That is after the bombing at St. Theresa’s Catholic church in the same area.

Is there a Christian equivilant for this one?

The lesson here is, the events, people, ideas, and places you have never heard of may in fact exist. We cannot therefore argue, that someone we never heard of does not exist.

And in contrast the lesson here is, when certain events, places, people, and ideas become “common knowledge” – even if they are true – people often overlook other relevant information. Did you know, for example, that seventy Muslims are estimated to have died on 11 September, not including the terrorists?

Of course the Church can survive as promised by Jesus.
My thinking as well! Jesus said upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of hades will not prevail.

The Church will be here until Christ returns again, just as he promised.

As we have a Father who keeps his promises:D

People seem to be forgetting the big picture. Christ wants us to love God with all our heart, mind, and spirit, and to treat our neighbors as we treat ourselves. Even if there are people that want our destruction we still need to love them and bless them. For we know something they do not. Remember we are in the world but not of it.

I spend enough time in that part of the world that I actually have a home there, but I never heard of these guys. Well, I might have in passing, but I always assumed it was something like a homeguard out of control.

We can if no evidence is provided.

I do know that. I’ve personally witnessed muslims killing muslims and seen the killers justify their actions time and again with the belief that they are making them martyrs.

Can you please refer me to a book on the subject (I’m assuming that you have one or two)?

Thanks for that bit of history - it speaks to something that I found curious 40 years ago:

I was dating a first-generation American guy with a large and loud Croatian family. When it got serious enough that I was brought in to a family event, he whispered to me, “Don’t mention the word “Serb” around my grandparents.” No problem, I had no idea what he was talking about, and that generation of his family had very limited English anyway.

BTW, the fact that I was Lutheran and the young man was serious about me was almost as bad as being Serbian. We were too timid to even attempt an engagement although we still remain friends.

the answer is NO the CC will not surive in a muslim majority state or world. islam is a political system and oppostion is not allowed. the sooner christians accept this truth the better the chance of surviving.

That is not strange…, that Saudi Arabian Mufti is only repeating what Muhammed instructed in one of his authentic hadiths:

Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4366:
“…I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.”
Sam 777,
I’ve read some of it, and strangely enough the article mentions “…freedom for those who are groaning under the oppression of heartless tyrants.” Do they realise they run the risk of becoming “heartless tyrants” themselves, when they arrest people for non-islamic prayer services?

The war in Islam is waged with a view to securing liberty and freedom for those who are groaning under the oppression of heartless tyrants. It is the bounden duty of the Muslims to alleviate their sufferings and create for them an atmosphere of peace and security.

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Calls for Destruction of Churches in Region

"]Over the past several months International Christian Concern, an organization that monitors the persecution of Christians around the world, has been reporting on a group of 35 Christian men and women from Ethiopia who have been held against their will in Saudi Arabia since December 2011 after being arrested for holding a Christian prayer meeting in a private home.

Jesus says the opposite.

Absolutely not, nor would I want to see my nation, or any nation, become dominated by Islam. In my experience, Islam has brought nothing but misery to Christians.

They will try their best to kill us or convert us. There is no middle ground under Sharia law.

But, fear not, the Lord of lords and the King of kings comes soon, and we all shall worship Him.
