Well, it is for safety regulations after all. I think it is rather reasonable, if not exactly fair.
 
Yeah thats what I thought… thats why I was not that surprised…but nevertheless disappointed that the water wouldn’t reach their destinations…
 
Everybody by now should know the rules before boarding a plane.
 
In the USA, the 3 ounce rule only applies to carry-on baggage. I presume this is true in Europe also. If it is, then the solution is to put the larger holy water containers in their checked baggage.
 
The rules have been in place for over a year now, and people should really check these thing s out. I went to Lourdes in July and we all filled up our containers with water, labelled them with our names and addresses, and they went in the hold with the rest of the luggage. at the other end, they all came out with our luggage, safe and sound. The company organising the trip should have made the pilgrims aware of this. It’s not rocket science.
