Canadian Parliament overwhelmingly defeats euthanasia bill

Talk about a miracle. The MP’s of Canada have voted 228 against, and 59 in favour. Two others admit they accidentally voted in favour when they meant against

Thank you Jesus for the crushing defeat to the Culture of Death.I want to see the yea votes-Bloc and New Communist Party no doubt.

Don’t believe them-it’s a bald-faced lie-they are merely trying to save face so that their constituants don’t boot them out of office.They thought the vote was going one way and when it got crushed they backtracked furiously.They’d rather look like fools than supporters of state sanctioned murder which is EXACTLY what they voted for.We are an educated people and not usually gullible when it comes to the machinations and squirming of our politicians.They’ll get theirs next election.Canadians don’t vote FOR politicians we vote AGAINST them.
 
This was a private members bill and had no chance of going through. The bishops had petitions going around the churchs here and even seculars were against it. Canada has a lot more common sense than other countries.
 
Wow, between that and McGuinty’s flip flop, I might have to start trusting Parliament again:thumbsup:
 
Great news!

I heard something this morning that Canada had also passe something where there would be no government funding of abortion. Haven’t hecked the news, but it looks like things are moving in a great direction!
