Ditto that! maybe the best sitcom ever(?)!Arrested Development!
Just Shoot Me was one of the funniest shows EVER!!! I don’t really like sit-coms, but that one had me every week.WIth the political world like it is today, I miss Murphy Brown! Also I miss, *Just Shoot Me *and Frazier!
Fire Marshall Bill is one of the funniest characters I’ve ever seen. When he would throw back his head and cackle like an animated skull, just prior to igniting some new inferno(‘Let me show ya somethin!’), I would almost wet myself from laughing so hard. Thank goodness for DVD!The 1980’s/1990s variety show IN LIVING COLOR,
was the funniest show I have ever seen in my life.
Every week was a riot and a half. The Wayans Brothers.
Jim Carrey (Fire Marshall Bill), Jamie Foxx (Wanda the Ugly Girl), etc. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. That one was one of a kind.
I was in the play I Remember Mama in HS. It was a great play!I would like to see a re-run or two of my mother’s favorite show, “I Remember Mama”, or sometimes just called, “Mama”. Unfortunately, I don’t think they were taped because tape didn’t exist then!
Cat was only ever referred to as “Cat” or “Snow’s Cat” on show, but in the script he was referred to as “Carl”.But I really miss “Early Edition”! Anyone remember that one? (And what WAS the cat’s name anyway? I know they mentioned it once!)
Would that be “Land of the Lost”? Brings back memories as well as the theme song! And the evil Slestacks? Ooooh…scary…and SO realistic! What was the old show where a family went into a pyramid and somehow travelled to other places or times, can’t remember which.
No… oh well, perhaps someday I’ll remember.Would that be “Land of the Lost”? Brings back memories as well as the theme song! And the evil Slestacks? Ooooh…scary…and SO realistic!![]()
Did some googling. It was called Otherworld. It only ever aired 8 episodes. No… oh well, perhaps someday I’ll remember.
Ah yes, I am showing my age here but I do remember Automan - he had the superfast car that caused problems for any humans riding in it, IIRC.Anybody used to watch Automan? with “Cursor”
I LOVED Andy Richter Controls the Universe! I actually met Irene Molloy once, who played Wendy the receptionist. She’s from my area. It was around Christmas time, I was with my brothers in Gamestop, and noticed her, only I thought she was a friend of my sisters, so I waved and smiled, and went over to talk to her, and was face to face before I realized it wasn’t Heather - and of course her name flew out of my headOh, I thought of another one: Andy Richter Can’t Lose was a hilarious series that was tragically short.
ETA: See it was on for so short a time, I can’t even remember its name right! It was Andy Richter Controls the Universe, not to be confused with Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, another short but sweet series.
