I don’t know if you have Hospice help or even want it. However, they can help with pain management. And no, they don’t do anything to bring life to an end faster or intentionally. I have worked with them with three different family members over the last 15 years. My sister will probably be the next family member I will be assisting when she reaches that point with her illness.

And believe it or not, this is one of those cases where you might benefit from medical marijuana. I know some folks will gasp, but it is known to help with cancer pain.

I will pray for you and do have the belief that God will be with you and help you during this final journey. May you know His Peace and Love.

Dear Cricket2,

Thank you for your useful advice. I’ve got a friend who can bring me medical marijuana. And I can also ask my doctor for a card. Tomorrow I’ll be going to a meeting where I can get all kinds of information about the hospice groups they have here. I will participate in Hospice when the time comes, and it may come soon–who knows.

Again, thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Dear Weejee, It is hard when God’s perfect design of our bodies goes wrong. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this transition to the rest, and best, of life. May your faith carry your heart and soul soaring above the pain, and may you be united with our God’s great love and compassion as soon as He can call you. This, too, will pass, and glory will be yours forever.

Please guys, I need prayers. The pain is starting in my back. I have stage 4 ovarian cancer and chemo can no longer help, so I’ve gone off treatment… Between now and death I don’t know how this disease will treat me, and of course, I NEED PRAYERS!

My prayer dear one. I just brought my very dear friend to the airport to stay with her son and she just started experiencing the pain in her cancer. She now has a patch with pain medication that is helping her. I hope you have the support of family and/ or friends.
