Cancer Scare

My sister just called me with bad news. Her mammogram results are abnormal and she is supposed to go in ASAP for another test. She is terrified. I am praying, and am asking everyone who can, to pray that her mind will be eased and that the new test will show that she is perfectly healthy.

Dear Blessed Virgin,

You said that nobody who flew to you for protection would be turned away. I know this to be true from my own experience. Please pray for my sister. She is so afraid that she has cancer. She is afraid for her children and for her sisters. Please pray that the new results will be normal, but if it is God’s will that she take this journey please pray that she will have the strength to do so and to become stronger with the experience.

I ask you this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

I am praying that your sister will experience true peace in her heart; that she abandon herself to God’s divine providence and accept His will for her life. Let her love God increasingly as she faces this medical situation, and not panic, but simply trust God, as a child would.

UPDATE:

The second, more precise test was inconclusive but after going over her old test records the physicians have decided that my sister is fine - it is just normal calcification and happens to everyone. It was on her old tests but was missed at that time. The clinic called my sister and gave her the news. My sister went from being very scared yesterday to jumping up and down for joy.

SHE IS OK!!

Thank you for your prayers! She is very appreciative of them too. I can’t thank you enough.
