LemonandLime-And yes I am against alcohol for a matter of fact. But I don’t think it should be made illegal, because alcohol can be enjoyed responsibily and in small amounts has actually been shown to help protect against heart disease (yet in large amounts, it can cause it). Cannabis however cannot be enjoyed recreationally without massive negative effects. Its use as a painkiller is good, but thats just it - a painkiller, not for getting high.
ME- Talk about rationalization! WOW! thats not what they said during prohibition. All alchohol use was banned. So therefore since it was banned at a point in our nations history, you should not be endorsing it for any reason. Are you giving medical advice?
No I’m not giving medical advice, I am stating facts. Something you have so far failed to do.
And no its not my nation, I’m British.
Wait a second, because it was once banned, I should not be endorsing it? Hypocrite. Cannabis is banned in your country, therefore you shouldn’t be endorsing it.
Thoughtfulone:
Actually, mice are used in experiments because they are mammals and their DNA is very similar to our own, making them likely to respond in a similar manner to various drugs/procedures. Also, their life cycles are short, so multi-generational tests can be performed. And yes, they are cheap and take up little space. If mice did not respond in a similar way to humans during medical testing, there would be no point in using them at all, unless the only goal is to cure cancer in mice
Marijuana can absolutely be used responsibly and in moderation, and saying it cannot is a flat-out falsehood
with ZERO evidence to back it up. It is very possible to use just enough so that one barely feels the effects at all, just a very minor sense of relaxation, like cammomile tea. I (like another poster on this thread) used it frequently in college, graduated in 4 years with 2 degrees and the top award in my department, and went on to earn my Master’s degree with nearly a 4.0 and a genius-level IQ. I am not trying to brag here, just to illustrate that it is very possible to use marijuana responsibly with no detriment to one’s mental faculties, one’s health, or one’s emotional well-being. Actually, it also helped a lot with my OCD.
I’m kinda getting a little bit fed up of this now.
Maybe you’re confused because of the cannabis you’re smoking. It is ME who is the one who has been posting evidence to back it up, YOU are the one who are posting zero evidence. Ugh.
