Exactly! As long as they have been validly baptized, then they are to be brought up normally.What do you mean what happens?
If it is known that the child was validly baptised with water in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit then nothing happens. The child will be brought in the Catholic faith and when the time comes will be confirmed.

The child has been Christianized. I’m not sure of the process involved in becoming Catholic. Perhaps that is covered as one of the terms in the adoption process, but I’m guessing.What happens if a child is baptized non-Catholic and is adopted by Catholic parents?
