In these days when we see thousands of Wahabist Muslims riot and kill just for the burning of their holy book, it makes one wonder if, in that sect, the book is worshipped far more than the God it speaks of.
In my lifetime we Americans have gone from Freedom of Religion to Freedom From Relegion. Seventy years ago it was the Jews who were gassed, just for being a Jew. Today is the Christian, who is villified just for being a Christian, in a country founded on the absolute freedom to practice one’s religion without recourse.
Cardinal Dolan, bless his American heart, is speaking out about that very subject. Personally, I agree with everything he says in the question of the federal government attempting to instill socialist values in law.
Will it be that we Christians, including we Catholics, have to stop turning the other cheek and rise up as the Wababist Muslims do everytime a percieved wrong is even thought about their sect? It appears that is the only way we are going to regain our country. In Maryland, a colony originally founded by Roman Catholics, today has homosexual marriage as a law. That is how far we have gone to date. What is next?
Today, our church is being pummelled by secular law, by a group called the ACLU, which was started by a still carries the mantle of total Communism.
As Thomas Paine said in our War for Revolution, “These are the time that try men’s souls”.
So, I, for one Christian, Jew, Catholic, say that we can tolerate it no longer. I say, “Tell them like it is Cardinal Dolan”. It is time for us to rise up and take our freedom back, by force if necessary.
“We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
No law shall change that. No law shall come into a home and dictate how that home shall be conducted. No law shall come into a church and dictate how that church shall be conducted.
That is our American Dogma and thus it shall remain regardless of who occupys the government of WE THE PEOPLE!!

Like so much of the women’s rights movement, it too comes out of books. It is taught is schools and universities. We must recall that the women’s “Equal Rights Amendment” to the American Constitution failed passing some 30 years or so ago.
So, now we the people are being forced to pay for a woman’s entitlement to commit adultry. For when it is taken down to the lowest point, that is exactly what it is. This is a fact is all the major religions of the world. If a woman has no religion, then it is simply dishonoring the long tradition of being referred to as a lady. As my grandfather told me many years ago; there are millions of women in this world, however ladies become fewer and fewer each year. You know what a lady is. It’s your mother, your wife, your daughter.
In the 1980’s as I was teaching my very young grandsons to open the door for ladies, we were going into a mall. The six year old ran ahead and opened the door for a woman. She looked down at him and in a tirade yelled that she was able to open her own doors, that she didn’t need a mere male to do it for her. My grandson was perplexed to say the least. So, I came up and asked “M’am what’s the problem? He was only trying to be a gentleman.” She repeated to me what she had just said to him and walked off in a huff. Now my grandson was very confused. As she was leaving, I carefully explained to my grandson that it was alright, that she just forgot she was a lady.
That pretty much sums it up. Ms. Fluke just forgot she was a lady. A lady does not air her “dirty linen” on worldwide television. A lady does not openly admit to the desire of being “bedded” and controlling her ability to have children through a requested free government program while her education is being paid for by a university. That is what we are all missing here.
I’m pretty sure that why they call it “Womens Rights” instead of “Ladies Rights”. Remember where the word fornicate comes from. The Roman women who practiced the world’s oldest profession under the arches of the Roman buildings. In latin arch is fornix.
Conversly, the same applies to men. That was the other half of what my grandfather told me; that there are many men in the world, but every year brings fewer and fewer gentlemen. A gentlemen does not place a lady in a situation where she has to ask on worldwide television for the ability to be “bedded” anytime she desires without fear of making a child. A gentlmen does not allow a lady to be degraded to that extent. The next question is where are the gentlemen is this fiasco? Oh, I remember, they testified the previous day before congress as to the true objections of free contraception.

Took the words right out of my mouth. This dear sweet Cardinal (and one who is not afraid of a challenge) needs our prayers desperately…I include him and all the Bishops in my Rosary…if I have time in the afternoon I also say a Divine Mercy Chaplet for them…just a suggestion. (and at the risk of coming off overly dramatic, for this horrific mandate that they are ***crucifying ***us with as well)

I admire his honesty, his down-to-earth/common man personality, I include him in my prayers every day, and pray that he will continue to be granted the strength and perserverance to continue this fight for ALL of us.

He happens to be naturally witty. I have seen him talk about the faith in other areas and he is extremely down to earth, articulate, witty…and he is a traditional and inspiring teacher of the Catholic faith.
I would say he is an excellent shepherd. This mandate is NOT ABOUT POLITICAL PARTIES. IT’S ABOUT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM…and if this would have been a Republican oppressing the faithful with such nonesense, he would have had the very same reaction, and would have called the faithful to prayer and action all the same.
It doesn’t get any better than Cardinal Dolan. He is the best.

Cardinal Dolan is a church leader doing his job, he is guided by the Holy Spirit, the government is interfering with our Churchs affairs. No Mr. Brooks or “politicking” here.
