Thank God we have Pell in Australia to counterbalance the others. Im afraid the rest of the bishops in australia are either overly liberal and possibly heretical (though not for me to judge) or they simply don;t have the inner strength to stand against the tide of relativism like Pell and thus remain silent, contrary to their role as teachers and guides for the faithful.
Let us all hope that men like Pell continue to champion the faith where so many kowtow before the liberal godless modernism that pervades so much of western society and that its slow march to cultural suicide is averted.
