I only pray that in his solitary cell, he is like a monk and is rapidly approaching the greatest heights of sanctity. That, alone, will make this “acceptable.” I also do not understand why people think juries are fairer. I doubt a judge would’ve convicted based on that solitary testimony, decades old.It is but a reflection of the greatest injustice of human history.

Wait, what??? Are you serious? Didn’t I read it was upheld by all the judges except one??? Oh, you’ll have made my day if this is true!!! I stopped following this story after the appeal failed. Maybe there was a further appeal???Cardinal Pell’s conviction was overturned on appeal. As far as I know, he is at the Vatican now.
