Who will rise today for God?” the cardinal asked. “Who will dare to confront the modern persecutors of the Church? Who will have the courage to rise up without any weapons other than the rosary and the Sacred Heart, to face the columns of death of our time?”
These modern “columns of death”, the cardinal explained, were “relativism, indifferentism and contempt for God

Cardinal Sarah makes an apt comparison of the current war on the family and on religion to the French revolutionaries’ war on Catholicism and family, particularly as exemplified by the destruction of churches and the near genocide of the devout Catholics of the Vendee region. The war on Church and family continues.

I’ve always wondered why African priests use hate speech so often and spout some nonsensical, void of any logic, word structures, I can’t even describe them in any other way than this. I swear my ears almost fell off when I listened once to what they were saying about gay people and stuff.
Sarah has opposed various attempts to provide legal recognition to gays and lesbians, often casting his remarks in terms of a defense of traditional Catholic and African values against contemporary secular Western culture
On 28 January 2012, the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, called on African nations to
repeal laws that place sanctions on homosexual conduct.
Sarah called the speech “stupid”. When a journalist asked if Ban Ki-moon was “overstepping his responsibilities”, Sarah replied: “Sure, you cannot impose something stupid like that. Poor countries like Africa just accept it because it’s imposed upon them through money, through being tied to aid.” He said that “It’s not possible to impose on the poor this kind of European mentality” and added that African bishops must react to this move against African culture.[32]

Sorry. but to me this is a despicable man As anyone who supports inhuman and Nazi treatment of LGBT people in Africa.

The man who is also ignorant of the real African culture and traditions that didn’t have anything against gay people until Christianity and Islam got there.

“hate speech”. “Nazi treatment”. Sure. OK.

Is Cardinal Sarah advocating for stoning of gays or killing them in gas chambers?

Yea, I thought so.

Sensible people are growing tired of the false, contrived “hate” and “bigotry” accusations.

He’s talking about behaviors, not people. And not all gay people practice homosexual behavior.

He’s against abortion, and abortion is pro-Nazi.

Christianity was in parts of Africa before it came to most parts of Europe. Almost 1900 years. Islam got into Africa fairly quickly after it was formed.

Let’s not forget why the family is important and the Left seeks to destroy it. As the journalist Peter Hitchens wrote in his book The Abolition of Britain:
The greatest fortress of human liberty, proof against all earthly powers, is the family. In its small private space, it can defy the will of authority and the might of wealth. It is without doubt the most effect means of passing lore, culture, manners and traditions down through the generations. Its loyalties are stronger than those of the state, more powerful than patriotism. All serious tyrannies have sought to undermine or infiltrate it, socialist tyrannies most of all.
He’s against abortion, and abortion is pro-Nazi.
Something many don’t know or choose to not know.

Some experts were sent to a primitive village in Africa that still practiced the old ways. Grass huts, straw clothing, etc. Through an interpreter, they had the concept of homosexuality explained to them. They were asked if they understood. They did. But they had a question: “How do you reproduce?”

Ah, the classic “all natives everywhere were peace loving libertines with no hate in their body until the Europeans and the Christians showed up…” line again. Good to see it is still getting some use.

I think I will take a thoughtful man like Cardinal Sarah any day over anyone who thinks the best thing for Africans is for them to contracept themselves out of existence for the comfort of some urban elites like Ban Ki Moon.

Hey, George.

Ha, thats great!

They would hate to admit it, but they must rely on hetero couples having children and being in hetero relationships, in order to produce more LGBT people.

Wow! this was deep…

These modern “columns of death”, the cardinal explained, were “relativism, indifferentism and contempt for God”.

“Who will say to this world that the only freedom worth dying for is the freedom to believe?”
