The Reykjavík Metropolitan Police have completed their investigation of sexual offenses allegedly committed by a late teacher at Landakotsskóli, run by the Catholic Church in Iceland, and the case will now be taken to the courts.
Its a huge shame to all the Catholic. What happened in there even shook Catholic Churches in all parts of the world. Its high time for the Vatican to announce another “Vatican council” to deal with sex crime in the church. Its always better for the Church to take some serious actions than simply apologizing.

A Church Council is not going to “fix” the problem. The problem is sinful individuals, and especially, the “gatekeepers” of the seminaries. Many young men who had no business becoming priests were allowed in the seminaries. Was it a planned infiltration to destroy the Church from within? Probably. But forensic proof would be hard to come by, I would think.
