Cassocks: when was the last time you saw one?

Hi Im from the uk and have never seen our priest or any priest in our parish wear a cassock or the altar servers either for that matter.
Father wears black shirt black pants and his collar day to day and for mass he wears a white alb, stole and chasuble.
The altar servers wear a white alb with a red rope or white during advent.

This morning at 10am Mass. My parish has servers wear cassocks for all weekday and Sunday Masses.
 
My parochial vicar 👍 (who is also a monsignor) wears his casswock every Sunday, and every time he has to officiate at a wake or Baptism. He also almost always wears his cassock whenever he hears confessions. When he delivered a speech for a diocesan event, he also wore his cassock.

Our diocesan director of Divine Worship also wears his cassock when he is acting as the Bishop’s MC. His predecessor also wore a cassock. And, when the cathedral’s deacon assists as MC, he also wears a cassock.

When not wearing his cassock, my PV wears his black clerics 99.9% of the time, even on his days-off. My PV also has a zucchetto and a beretta (with the monsignor designation-color, which happens to be magenta).
 
This morning when the pastor lit the Pascal candle before Mass. Our pastor, who is pretty young, frequently wears a cassock and our Parochial Vicar sometimes wears one, ordained last year. We are so blessed in our priests.

The Priests and Altar Servers wear them at St Patricks in New Orleans,
 
The last time I saw priests in cassocks was the last time I visited the Cathedral, a couple of weeks ago. They wear them for Confessions most of the time, and when they (the priests who did not celebrate the Mass just finishing up) greet the people as they leave.

The Priests and Deacon at the parish I attend wear them all the time.
 
This morning at Mass.(Priest and altar boys)

If you count the “altar boy” ones, 13 of our seminarians. (:D) wore them while assisting at our Tridium liturgies.

Last time I saw a Diocesean priest wearing one was Wednesday of last week when the Bishop was attending St. Benedict’s Day at the Abbey where I’m in school (I’d say the Bishop counts, eh?). He was in choir cassock. If that doesn’t count, then the last time I can remember is Holy Week when I was serving at the Cathedral.

Last time I saw an altar boy wearing one was the last Mass I went to at school, Thursday last. I expect to see one on myself fairly soon because I think I have to serve sometime this week. 🙂

The Oratorians of St. Philip Neri ALL wear them in their 2 parishes in Toronto.

For the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday, the priest at the church I attended was wearing a cassock. I have seen my parish priest wear his cassock from time to time as well, usually on holy days or special occasions.

Our priests wear them every day, all day. I’ve never seen them in anything else that I can remember.

Actually they would be wearing their HABIT much like Franciscans wear theirs.

The Oratorian habit looks like or includes the standard cassock.
 
I see priests in them time to time around my campus, very rarely though. At a Christmas Mass a few years ago i went to a different parish then normal and the Msgr there was wearing a cassock, but it looked like he hadnt worn it in 15 years and it now seemed to be a bit of a tight squeze. 😉 I occasionally see them on altar servers. The seminarians here have a few they use from time to time.

Every week. It is normal for all the priests at my parish
 
The last time I saw a cassock was this morning, hanging in my closet.

A priest in a nearby parish often wears one around the church grounds, sometimes with a biretta. He’s one of the younger priests in the diocese.

There is no issue here. The OP asked when the last time you saw a cleric wore one.

If you think it should be an issue then start you own thread on whether its necessary. Otherwise stick to the topic.
