Flewen,

soar high! make every possible encounter in the cabin a unique experience of sharing and defending our Holy Catholic Faith! Make yourself a bastion of our religious defense. But don’t forget, the real purpose of our cause is to “restore all things in Christ” (instaurare omnia in Christo). God bless you always.

Bro,

Welcome! have you heard of the forthcoming debate in CDO this sunday? versus SDA. I hope to hear from you soon.

Pro Deo et Ecclesia.

i have a question… Jesus never said that he is God And he never said that he is not God too… Right?

The INC in our religion forum at TDP said that… Jesus said directly that He was man…so he is not God?

He’s both Human and Divine…

100% Man - 100% God, not 50-50.

In Revelations 1:8, God introduced Himself to John as follows;

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” 6 says the Lord God, “the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty.”

Now who is this Alpha and Omega according to Revelations 1:8? Obviously, its God. And to further convince you, in Isaiah 44:6, God introduced Himself as such;

Thus says the LORD, Israel’s King and redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first and I am the last; there is no God but me.

Therefore, this Alpha and Omega is no other than GOD!

But wait, did not Jesus claimed this title too? Let’s read Revelations 1:16-18;

"When I caught sight of him, I fell down at his feet as though dead. He touched me with his right hand and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last, the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever. I hold the keys to death and the netherworld.”

Okey, so this person who’s talking here is the One who once died and came back to life again, is it really Jesus? We all know that Jesus was crucified, died, and was resurrected on the 3rd day. Therefore, we may conclude that the Alpha and the Omega is God and since Jesus identified Himself with that same title, Jesus, therefore, is God, the second person of the Trinity - ergo, Jesus is God!

TO ALL INC AND JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES:

I’m waiting for your reply and comments on Revelations 1:8…

“Before Abraham was, I AM”.

“I AM” = “YHWH”, the name of God. This enraged his audience.

Thomas: “My Lord and my God!”
😉 whats your point brother? Please specify;;; so that our dear brother must know it easily:D

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
I believe that what Pons would like to say is that Jesus referred to Himself as God or co-equal with the Father when He said, “Before Abraham was, I AM”. This is the reason why the Jews were enraged after hearing what Jesus said. Remember, the words I AM is equivalent to the word YHWH which is transliterated to God.

😉 whats your point brother? Please specify;;; so that our dear brother must know it easily:D

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,
actually brother, the point he is referring of is that when we pointed out the word “I AM”, it is equivalent to the name of the creator who is GOD (“YHWH”)…seeing that because of this statement of Jesus…many Jews suspected Him for being blasphemous and is assuming Himself to be the Messiah…remember, JESUS WAS ACCUSED FOR BEING BLASPHEMOUS ACCORDING TO THE JEWISH PERCEPT…

so you are thinking that He never stated that fact?..think again…
