I think this comment is silly. There’s no “nuance” when it comes to human life. It’s human life from the get-go, and we’ve got that in black-and-white. (“Before you were in your mother’s womb, I knew you.”) We don’t need to create dilemma where there is none, and the only reason for doing so is to try and rationalize what we know to be evil.I am not about to think I know what God thinks about the nuances with regard to a mother’s life, fetal life and so forth.
Right is right and wrong is wrong. It doesn’t matter if 100% of the people in this country believe that abortion is ok. It isn’t. Period. God knows that, too.am certain God knows Sen Durbin is a legislator in a secular society with plural beliefs.
I also find it super interesting that in one sentence, you shy away from claiming to know what God thinks, and in the VERY NEXT you’re certain you know what He knows. Consistency would be nice.
God has already told us what we need to know about this. But in any case I’m fine with leaving all of this in an all knowing and merciful God’s hands to sort out rather than on the internet.
Later, gator. Don’t blame you. I’d abandon this indefensible line of reasoning, too.So I am departing from this thread.
