Afraid I’m gonna have to disagree with this one. As an alternative may I recommend:Building a Bridge: How the Catholic Church and the LGBT Community Can Enter into a Relationship of Respect, Compassion, and Sensitivity

Keep the bolded part in mind, not just for that book but for others they (for now) still sell. Amazon’s hefty commission makes it much harder for independent publishers, or independent any business, to survive. They have to go on Amazon because they know you and I are shopping there, but they’d much prefer to sell directly to you.TreyTrey:

The Battle for Normality by Gerard J. M. Van den Aardweg (Amazon won’t even sell this anymore; it’s from Ignatius Press, a premier Catholic publisher)
LOTR is very Catholic. There is lots of analysis of its Catholicism by orthodox Catholic writers such as Peter Kreeft and Joseph Pearce.Anesti33:
the Lord of the Ring has been written by a Catholic, and have some christian inspirations (such as the battle against good and bad, sacrifice…), among others, but are not especially Catholics litterature.
