Fine non sequtur there…what is irrelevant is a general discussion regarding civil disobedience to unjust laws, when US immigration policy is anything BUT unjust. If the law you want to break is a good law, then talk about the justice of breaking bad laws is utterly irrelevent.If people make the argument that we shouldn’t help Mexicans here illegally because they broke our laws then I think it’s entirely relevant.
As to ‘help…’ that’s fine. The problem lies in the sort of help given. My opinion is that the best help is that which gets these people legal–in a way that lets them know that the consequences of coming here illegally are such that it’s better to come legally—or to simply not come.
